Pamilacan Island is located in the town of Baclayon in Bohol province. It is only 8 nautical miles from Baclayon or Loay town boat stations (30-45 minutes banca outrigger ride depending on sea conditions). During rough sea conditions, boat ride is from Loay as the port is located in a protected cove area. Baclayon or Loay boat station is 15 to 20 minutes land trip from Tagbilaran City airport, the provincial capital of Bohol. There are at least 5 daily jet flights from Manila to Tagbilaran City via Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air and Zest Air. It takes only 1 hour and 10 minutes plane ride. An international airport will be constructed next year in the island of Panglao which is only 7 nautical miles from Pamilacan or a 30 minute outrigger trip. From Cebu City to Tagbilaran port, there are at least 7 daily fast craft ferry trips (Supercat, Oceanjet, Weesam Express). The trip takes only 1 hour and 45 minutes and costs around Php 400 to Php 500 per pax one way. There are also at least 2 daily ferry services via roro ships leaving Cebu for Tagbilaran which takes 4 1/2 hours but costs only less than Php 200. Also, there are 2 daily roro ferry services from Cebu City to Tubigon, Bohol (2 hours boat trip) where you can bring your car for less than Php 1500 per vehicle.
